WORKSHOP CONTENT:
Hong Kong Association of Art Therapists (HKAAT) is pleased to announce that, we will be offering a two-day workshop in September, facilitated by renowned art therapist and scholar Ms. Michelle Dean on the use of art therapy with individuals who have experienced trauma and manifest eating disorder behaviors. This 12-hour workshop will allow participants to have a deeper understanding of the applications of arts-based treatment individuals who struggle with eating disorders and complex trauma through a combination of lecture and art experientials.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Michelle L. Dean, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, CGP is a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counsellor (PA) & Certified Group Psychotherapist from the United Sates. Michelle is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Graduate and Undergraduate Art therapy Programs at Cedar Crest College (USA). Michelle is an internationally recognised expert in treating individuals who have eating disorders, complex trauma, and relationship issues. Michelle has over 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring art therapists and psychotherapists in various universities and provides clinical supervision for ATR candidates and other mental health clinicians.
